Hi, my name is Carlos, I am Portuguese and I have been living in London since 1992.

I also speak English, Spanish and French.

As an Approved Driving Instructor, I will teach you how to drive with a new manual car, with dual controls, and achieve the driving standard required to Pass your Driving Test as well as becoming a Safe Driver for Life.

I have prepared for you some very useful links to video clips and information related to your Theory Test and Driving Test in the members area.

As part of your training, when you are close to your test date You will undergo some mock tests.

The first 2 hours:

You will need to show me the 2 parts of your Provisional or Full Driving Licence in order to drive.

-If you hold a non-UK Licence i will have to see it.

-If you are a beginner you will learn about the cockpit drill, car controls, the use of the mirrors,signals(45 minutes debriefing), how to move of and stop on the left safely, turn left and right.

-If you are a more advanced driver the 2 hours will give me the chance to make an assessment of your driving skills and resume the requirements for your driving test.

Those 2 hours will also enable us to get acquainted and discuss future lessons.

The way the driving test is done is going to change from October 2010.
